I’m signed up for four more years of progress and grown-up conversations. 

We love this so much we’re just going to repeat it: “Four more years of progress and grown-up conversations.”

Remember when this happened? Yeah, well I still feel the same way. It’s cold out today and the lines at your polls may be long, but this is important. In his ‘92 campaign Bill Clinton lost his voice on the final day of campaigning and he told a crowd at one of his last rallies “my voice will be better by tomorrow so if you are my voice on election day I will be your voice for the next four years.” Barack Obama and Joe Biden are our voices and we have to get their backs today. Game on.

The President’s Speech Tonight

I’ve spent the week being in awe of Michelle Obama, bragging about the political force my governor (Deval Patrick) is, and tipping my hat to the best policy force the party I am a member of has (President Bill Clinton). 

After President Obama’s speech tonight I could gloat, I could put the numerous pull quotes from political observers here… but, I’m not going to. What the President did tonight and the follow up that will happen over the next few months is quite simply put “the punch that Ali never gave Forman.”

I’m proud to have voted for him in 2008, and I’m proud to continue to call myself a supporter. I’ve said it before and I will say it again: I’m signed up for four more years of progress and grown-up conversations.
